Singing along in the Berlin Cathedral Choir

Those interested in singing in the Berlin Cathedral Choir should have a good voice and ideally choral experience and knowledge of music.

In addition to the oratorio choir, the Berlin Cathedral Choir also includes the chamber choir, the motet choir, the Schola and other project choirs. All ensembles regularly give concerts in the cathedral and outside. In addition, it is a matter of course for us that every singer also participates in church services.

Adrian Büttemeier, the cathedral cantor, decides on admission to the Berliner Domkantorei after a personal audition. The auditions usually take place on Mondays in the Luise-Henriette-Saal. Access is through Portal 2 (Lustgarten side, bell gatekeeper:inside) of the Berlin Cathedral.

Rehearsal time of the Oratorio choir: weekly on Mondays from 19.15 to 21.45 pm

Rehearsal time of the Chamber choir: weekly Tuesdays from 19 to 21 pm
